Satay Beef Kebabs
Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 packet MAGGI Satay Sauce Mix
2 Tbsp peanut butter
2 Tbsp wine vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp finely grated onion
2 tsp oil
500 g rump steak
Method
- Combine sauce mix, peanut butter, vinegar, soy sauce and onion in a bowl. Whisk until blended. Gradually whisk in oil.
- Cut the steak into 1 cm cubes. Add to the sauce mixture and leave to marinate for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Thread the beef onto 8 skewers.
- Cook over a pre-heated barbecue or under a pre-heated grill for 6-8 minutes or until the beef is cooked. Turn frequently and brush with any extra marinade while cooking.
Hints
If using wooden bamboo skewers, soak them in cold water for 3-4 hours to prevent them from burning.
