Free stuff, multi buy deals and Mother’s Day love!

I love the start of a new season. It’s time to try out a new wardrobe, cook new comfort food in the kitchen and find new ideas for quality time spent with the family.

Currently, my boys and I are enjoying colouring in pictures before bed time. I’ve found that it is relaxing - the boys certainly wind down and more importantly, I love their chit-chat and the sweet conversations that we have together.

We wish you all a very Happy Mother’s Day this Sunday. We hope your hard work as a new mummy is appreciated and that you are given the love and affection you deserve. And if you don’t, just remember that Pia from Nappies Direct (that’s me!) thinks you’re special!

It’s also time for me to refresh our specials here at Nappies Direct! See below for our May Deals.

We also have the chance for you to receive some free Johnson’s baby products to trial.

The Happening

Nearly impossible to tell it’s from the same guy who made The Sixth Sense, The Happening may well be the most astoundingly and entertainingly awful piece of dreck to get a wide release this year. It’s an embarrassingly schlocky eco-apocalyptic thriller about an airborne toxin that’s causing people to kill themselves in New York. Evacuation is ordered, and one of the many fleeing is science teacher Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg) and his wife Alma (Zooey Deschanel), who end up wandering in the countryside with a bunch of strangers running away from… the wind. The film’s sheer ineptitude is mind-boggling. There’s not a single moment in the film that doesn’t feel like it was beamed in from another planet. Adding insult to injury is the fact that the film builds to absolutely NOTHING whatsoever. Wooden beyond belief, Wahlberg gives both a career-worst performance and the worst performance of any film of the past year.

Go To Girls Movie Review - ‘Friends with Benefits’

Just finished watched Friends with Benefits and what a laugh out loud movie it was. Justin Timberlake is hilarious and Mila Kunis is a great actress. The storyline was your usual rom com but with a few twists. Also lots of bits that you could really resonate with from previous dating experiences. There were also some other good actors in there including Woody Harrelson who plays not your usual camp gay guy, so funny. I watched the movie with my hubby and he was in stitches too, definitely one that I’ll recommend to friends, especially if you want a good laugh.

Friends with Benefits - loved it!!! The storyline was a bit ‘cliche’, but the acting was superb. Was interested to see what Justin was like in a lead role, but he actually played it really well.  A lot of laugh out loud moments and hubby enjoyed it too. Thought Woody had a great part!  The outtakes are worth watching as well!!

All in all, a great movie that I’ll definitely be watching again!!

Friends with benefits
Hubby and I watched it last night and couldn’t stop laughing! For what looked like a chick flick it was really quite good. The hubby even gave it a 6.5 out of 10 which is not bad when there was not alot of action and complete lack of blood and guts in it. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis were great together and made for a great story to watch. Really enjoyed it, and loved Woody Harrelson as a gay dude, so didn’t from Cheers :) This is one we will definately be watching again … loved it!

Friends with Benefits
Absolutely loved this movie. Didn’t think much of Justin Timberlake before watching this movie, but found him to be quite entertaining in this movie with Mila Kunis. If you’re looking for a funny romantic comedy then this is the one for you. Hilarious comedy with some fantastic actors. You will not be disappointed. 10/10 for me :-)

Friends with Benefits
Wasn’t expecting much from this but it was funnier than expected and both lead actors were really very good together. It follows a typical rom-com storyline but some really funny moments happen throughout. Worth watching with your partner. 8/10 for me. :-D

Friends with Benefits
Watched this movie with my two sisters and step mum while doing a pamper evening for one of their birthdays. Didn’t like all the swearing but loved seeing Justin Timberlake naked and hear him rap Criss Cross. Really liked Mila Kunis too. They both did a great job. Story took a while to unfold but had some funny moments too. Not the best rom com I’ve seen but enjoyed it all the same. 6/10

Friends with Benefits
Thought this was cutsy - enough romance and witty banter to keep it interesting, good characters and Ok plot. A lot of talking, but Justin and Mila both believable in their roles - not one that I’d watch over and over but definitely worth a look, 7/10

Friends with Benefits
You knew from the start where this film was going, and i wasn’t sure i’d like it, but i was surprised at how funny it was. In the end i had quite a laugh and enjoyed watching Justin Timberlake, i also thought Mila Kunis was a good match to Justin in the film. Well worth watching in the end 8/10

Friends With Benefits
I found the movie quite boring and predictable, not great acting from Justin Timberlake, it did get a little bit better and a few laughs when other people were brought into the movie….JT fans would be loving backside shots and no shirt! just not a movie that grabs you and i found myself looking around the room and thinking of what i had to do the next day. Did enjoy JT dad’s role in the movie. Overall it was just a totally predictable slow moving movie, heaps of swearing (some might be affended). if you see it on the dvd shop shelf then keep walking!

Friends with Benefits
It was great to get a movie in the post and one that I have had my eye on too. The comedy was great. Certainly had a few “laugh out load moments”.  Did question whether the story line was appropriate: providing the wrong impression to young adults that sex before marriage and sex in non committed relationships will bring problems but not to worry because everything turns out well in the end.

But then again it’s just a movie and it provided good entertainment.  I’m sure the younger generation have the brains to know life does not always have fairy tale endings.
