Pasta with Creamy Bacon & Mushroom Sauce
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
300 g penne pasta or spaghetti
4 bacon rashers, chopped
1 packet MAGGI White Sauce Mix
375ml can CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk
1 tsp garlic, crushed
250 g mushrooms
freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
Method
- Cook the pasta according to directions on packet.
- Heat pan, add the bacon and cook for 2 minutes.
- Combine the MAGGI White Sauce Mix, CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk and garlic. Add to the pan and bring to the boil stirring.
- Add the mushrooms, then simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with pepper and stir in the parsley.
- Drain the pasta. Combine with the sauce and toss well before serving.
Hints
Serve with salad or seasonal vegetables
