Your little Capricorn will have a quiet, meditative nature ruled by reason instead of impulse and may seem older than his or her years at times. These children are thrifty, reserved, diplomatic, deep thinking, and determined. They are cautious in what they do and say. They know what they want and they usually get it by methodically planning every detail ahead of time-they like to take their time with things, learning lessons well along the way.
At school, the Capricorn boy stands out from the rest of his class because he is so quiet; and the little Capricorn girl is so very tidy. Both have ‘old heads on young shoulders’ and seem to prefer the company of adults to that of other children. They will make slow but steady progress with their studies, but may show little inclination to join the social side of school life. At most, they will acquire one or two school pals. Even if not happy at school, they will not complain to parents. If you are a Capricorn parent, you will have to take special pains to make sure that your child is not worrying about school and other problems – for Capricornians maintain a poker face and give little or no clue to their feelings.

Do not be too hopeful though, for Capricornians are the most inflexible of all the zodiac types.
